Junk Drawer - The After

Voila! A little late, but done, nonetheless. I'm going to admit that this was slightly disappointing. Because, while it is much better and I threw out about a pound of trash, it's still a junk drawer - with junky thingies and what's its. Oh, that big book in front is the adress book. I think I may look into purchasing a smaller one. Although I do like that I can hide coupons in it.

Now I need to clean my kitchen because, we've been invaded by ants. They like grapes. Did you know that Windex is the best ant-killer ever. They die instantly. And it's not so toxic!

Congrats on the fantastic work! :D
And, congrats on your productive discussion with your husband. Isn't it wonderful when that happens? It truly becomes "iron sharpening iron."

OH! To answer your question from, like, a million blogs ago. That book that I read that intimidated me about housework and being a mom was called "Finding your Purpose as a Mom." Is that what your bible study read too?

Yeah! Good job!

Thanks for the tip on the ants. It seems like everyone is going through this right now. I really hate bugs, especially when they are in my house! Yuck!

I think that it is actually physically impossible to completely get rid of the "junk drawer"... it's that place where we put things that just don't fit in anywhere else. Yours looks great!

Thanks!

XK - no that wasn't it. We did a few but the one I actually liked was "Creative Counterpart." I couldn't stomach a lot of those books though.

Looks good!

And, cinnamon works for ants too. Although, Windex is good - plus you sound like the dad in "My Big Fat Greek Wedding". Bwahahahahahahahaha.

Baking soda also works, you sprinkle it around the outside of the house. Unfortunately it washes and blows away, but it does works and also is not toxic.

we discovered that "method" spray cleaner works even better than windex, which is what we usually use. i splurged and got the grapefruit method and what did we use it for? ants.
